  1. What licence do I need for CBT?
  2. You will need a full or provisional licence, with category AM for moped and A for 125cc.
  1. When is training available?
  2. All our training is available 7 days a week.
  1. What happens if I don’t complete CBT on the day?
  2. Don’t worry if you don’t complete your training in 1 day. Your instructor will ask you to return for further training until you have reached the require standard.
  1. How long is a CBT certificate valid for and what can I ride?
  2. Your CBT certificate (DL196) is valid for 2 years from date of issue. This will allow you to ride up to 50cc at 16 and up to 125cc at 17 and over. The certificate will enable you to ride an automatic or geared motorcycle and you must display ‘L’ plates front and rear.
  1. Do I need to pass my theory test before my CBT?
  2. No, you only need to pass your theory test, when you want to take your full motorcycle test. It is advisable to read through The Highway Code, before your training to familiarise yourself with the rules of the road.
  1. At what age can I take Direct Access Training?
  2. You must be aged 19 or over to take training for your A2 licence and aged 24 and over for your A licence
